China and the Middle East Security Puzzle

The upheaval inside the Muslim world that has taken place since the beginning of the Arab Spring, and the consequences of the Islamic State's current presence in Syria, Iraq, and the war in Yemen are difficult phenomena to understand. This article provides a brief review of the two security challenges that China has to face in the Middle East. Read the article.
