Leonardo Bruni, Project Officer and Research Fellow at ChinaMed, has won the 2024 Jimmy Carter Prize in the China Focus Essay Contest, hosted by the 21st Century China Center at UC San Diego and The Carter Center. His essay, titled "Unable or Unwilling? The Self-Imposed Limits of Chinese Conflict Mediation," explores the factors influencing China's approach to international conflict mediation.
