What’s at stake for China as the Iran war drags on?

“There is no doubt that the war in Iran will have a massive impact on the global economy, which will undermine China’s growth, given the importance of exports. So I think this has pushed China to play a significant role in nudging the Iranians to enter talks and accept a ceasefire, even though the Iranians saw themselves as being in a relatively strong position.”
