Publications

Research output from the ChinaMed Project is meant to both advance scientific knowledge through academic publications, as well as to generate data-informed awareness for the benefit of the interested public.

The ChinaMed Project's most recent academic contributions include special issues of Middle East Policy (The Persian Gulf and the US-China Rivalry), Mediterranean Quarterly ("A Sea of Opportunities: China′s Growing Presence in the Mediterranean Region"), and China & World Economy ("Eurasian Perspectives on China's Belt and Road Initiative").
ChinaMed's signature open-access publication is the ChinaMed Observer, regularly published analyses on media trends in both China and the wider Mediterranean region, exploring expert perspectives from China, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southern Europe on significant events in Sino-Mediterranean relations.
